In his free time, Gordon Brinkle meticulously constructed a miniature version of a grand movie palace in his basement. The Shalimar was fully functional, with seats, a projection booth, speakers, and a working organ. It was also lushly designed and decorated with an almost obsessive attention to detail. This work documents the incredible creation in all its fantastic detail. Fully illustrated in color.
