A REFINER'S FIRE

Novel. Dario Montforte, recently vetted by Commissario Guido Brunetti for a job, was once a celebrated hero, although he never received formal recognition. When one of Brunetti's colleagues is later attacked, Brunetti begins to pull together the disparate pieces of evidence, uncovering the hypocrisy of Montoforte's past.
