DOGGED PURSUIT

Novel. When defense attorney Andy goes to the shelter, he plans to adopt two dogs. Sonny, he discovers, is part of a pending criminal case involving the owner. Andy learns the owner, Ryan, has been arrested for the murder of his ex-boss. He immediately likes Ryan and his clear dedication to his dog, and ends up with his first case.
