The Natter, a rocket-powered vertical take-off interceptor, was born in the closing months of WWII, when Germany was on the defensive on all fronts. It was designed to clear the German skies from enemy bombers, and was one of the 'wonder weapons' that Third Reich propaganda claimed would save the country from defeat.
