THE HUNTING FALCON: The Story of WW1 German Ace Hans-Joachim Buddecke
Though his autobiography was published in the spring of 1918, Buddecke did not see it in print. Returning to the Western Front from Gallipoli, he was recognized as one of the top pilots of his day. On March 10, 1918, Sopwith Camels of 3 Squadron RNAS shot him down and killed him. By this stage, he had been credited with 13 "kills." 24 pages of photos.
