THE PARIS ASSIGNMENT

Novel. After marrying a French journalist and having a son, Madeleine and her son travel to England while her husband stays in Paris to join the resistance. After a twist of fate results in the loss of her son, Madeleine accepts a request from the ministry to aid in the war efforts. Hoping to find her husband alive, she returns to France.
