Dogon, a Tutsi, was displaced due to ethnic violence when he was only three. He and his family made their way to the first of several U.N. tent cities in which they would spend decades. Dogon managed to be one of the few refugees to go to college. He took control of his own narrative and spoke up for forever refugees everywhere.
