A pictorial history of USS Yorktown, an Essex-class aircraft carrier, which sailed on combat tours with the U.S. Navy in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. The ship is preserved and open to the public as part of the Patriots Point museum complex near Charleston, South Carolina.
